Actually looking forward to going to this game for some reason and feeling bizarrely and illogically optimistic.

That'll be knocked out of you by 2-30 on Saturday. Fool!

No doubt when I see the team news. Think Jonas is a banker for this one.

Looks like Colo has already made himself unavailable for this. No surprise really considering ...

Not having Colo means it's going to be difficult.

Not having Colo meant that it was always going to be difficult.

These are my predictions.

Na, Coloccini is shit, we'll win now.  Imagine if we do.

Least he won't get sent off.

He didn't play in the home game which we lost 0-6, he did in the away game which we drew 1-1, even with him going off with about 5 minutes to go.

I'd rather he played than didn't.

Couldn't find this posted anywhere else:

Newcastle have suffered a potential blow with news that captain Fabricio Coloccini has returned from Argentina with a thigh injury.

Argentina are playing Uruguay in Montevideo on Tuesday night but Coloccini has been ruled out of the game.

Toon boss Alan Pardew is limited with centre-back replacements.

Steven Taylor has missed the last fortnight with a hamstring problem but could be fit for Liverpool’s visit to St James’s Park on Saturday.

Mike Williamson looks certain to start after stepping in for Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa after his horror show at Everton.

The French defender’s confidence took a battering that night but he may have to get over that quickly if Taylor is ruled out this weekend.
