Fabricio Coloccini (now retired)

The word "resolution" is important there. Suggests we hope to keep him here in the short term.

Not really. Coloccini leaving on a free transfer to San Lorenzo resolves the situation, and is therefore a resolution as well.

If anything, it's more of a resolution than keeping an unhappy player here who still wants to leave. That's unresolved.

AP on Coloccini: "We will speak to him next week and look to come to a resolution. We will keep it internal." #nufc

:scared:

It's a bit late to try keeping it internal.

Basically meaning its all going to go tits up, so the less said the better...

anyone know his reaction after the game? throw his shirt into the crowd maybe?  :'(

Just applauded the fans as normal. He did have an extended hug with Krul though. Before kick off he had a second hug with a number of the players which struck a bit like they knew it was his final game.

Superb. Altogether now...

"Stay now, Colo if you've got to go away, I don't think I could take the pain, won't you stay another day"

Colo staying another day's no good to us, as he still wouldn't play against Reading.

Wonder if the "ill wife" isn't just a ploy.

Hardly the first time it's been used....didn't Solano use his wife's obsession with living in London as the reason he had to leave ?

Carl Cort's wife was a reason he was got rid of hurriedly ! (Heard some tales about her swaggering up to front of queues in Tesco Kingston Park demanding personal service first because she was Cort's wife "!!!! How true I don't know)

What the actual fuck. On what planet is an obsession with living in London the same as being ill?

FWIW if your cynical review of his wife's illness did turn out to be true, I would walk away from giving NUFC anything until Ashely went. It would be a revolution in low.

Pardew's reaction to the question on sky obvious confirms it all  but at least it didn't seem clear cut that he's definitely off this month.

If his wife is very ill then I can't see what sort of chat could ever resolve the issue.

If the wife is very ill, going to Argentina, the top country regarding medical science will certainly help.

If you are seriously ill, having your family around is a big help.
