Was just thinking, but don't him & Jonas both qualify for UK passports now since they've lived here 5 years? If they applied for them, would they qualify as two of our 'UK based' players?

You mean home-grown players? The home-grown rule is that you must be registered with club(s) in that association for 3 years before the age of 21.

In this case, having a UK passport makes it easier for renewal of their work permits and nothing more since the PL has no foreigner limits compared to other leagues.

Coloccini also admitted his side need to make significant improvement to avoid the drop.

He added: "If we want to be serious about being in the top 10 or look to bigger things or be a big team in the Premier League, we have to start to take the chances we have. If not, we are going to have problems.

"We do not want to be like we were last season. We ended the season fighting against relegation - we can't have that again, so we have to look at our mistakes and keep going.

If that was excellent then f*** knows what standards you expect from the main CB, like.

he did barely anything wrong the whole game, and was calm and composed on the ball when he had to be. Excellent performance from a centre half.

Ronaldo is right, he got caught out a couple of times when diagonal balls we're played in and around him.

Also is far too hoof happy for some reason, I'm 99% sure we've been told to get the ball forward as early as possible though
