TaylorJ_01
Elliott hasn't done anything particularly wrong thus far tbh, although obviously would prefer Darlow. apart from being fat and a mess of a guy

Disco
Brendan Pearson has been keeping nets for the stiffs so you'd assume him.
Deuce
Not that I care that it's Elliot who's injured, but our physio deserves execution for sheer incompetence. Utter failure of a human being.
Dave
Perfectly fine today I thought.

nufcjb
If Elliot is out, surely now we can apply for an emergency transfer? Valdes wants out in January, could do with him here now.

Believe Woodman stops that, there was something in chronicle about it when Krul was injured.

But if Elliot is out and we're down to only 1 fit keeper out of the 4 we registered, then we would be elligble to apply for the emergency keeper transfer. ToonTastic
I'm sure there article was we couldn't even if Elliot was injured. I'll see if I can find it.
Pilko
Was that his first ever clean sheet in a 90-minute PL appearance? Can't be arsed to check.
toontownman
Hmm what's the point in having it. Surely we can apply for an emergency loan now. Madness.
ToonTastic
I believe the argument was that Woodman is a professional player at the club and so the rule is all professional keepers must be out: Point 54 of Section 6 of the Football League and Premier League’s regulations deals with the emergency loan of goalkeepers, and this clearly states that such provisions will only be granted should all registered professional stoppers at a club be ruled out on medical grounds (or due to suspensions). nufcjb
So we need Woodman to get crocked or get sent off to have all 4 'professional' keepers out before trying to get someone else in? Ffs. Who even has the time to come out with these stupid rules?

nufcjb
Yeah. Maybe give Woodman the nod for Bournemouth but would still apply to get another keeper in. What happen with Alnwick last season, we shouldn't rely on youngsters in high pressure situations.

Nah. It's at the discretion of the Premier League board: "V.7.6.2. the Temporary Transfer of a goalkeeper which in its absolute discretion the Board may allow in circumstances it considers to be exceptional;" http://www.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2015-16.pdf
Sima
If we are allowed to bring an emergency loan in I can't wait to see what shithouse we sign. Probably Andy Goram.
Wallace
Elliot had a fitness test before the match and they were expecting Woodman to play today. It is always the same with Elliot - all the talk about how he is going to seize his opportunity and and couple of weeks later he is injured.
ujpest doza
He did okay today and made a canny save from Jon Walters. Passed a late fitness test apparently, Woodman had been pencilled in to start and was also sent out to warm up midway through the 2nd half when it was noticeable that Elliott was throwing the ball out or bowling it out and not kicking unless he desperately had to.
