Beezeri
Ferguson is a LW, not a LB. We should play Raylor at RB and Santon at LB until we find a top quality RB. the player and 2 of his managers disagree He's about 2 stone wet through. Unless he starts putting away the steak, eggs and Guiness, he's never going to make it as a defender. Full backs don't need to be beasts thse days. Ashley Cole - 5 ft 9 Leighton Baines - 5ft 7 Patrice Evra - 5ft 8 Gael Clichy 5ft 9 Shane Fergsuon 5ft 11. Ok they might be a little bit more built that Ferguson but not a great deal and as said before, he doesn't lack bite. Plus wingers aren't exactly Tiote are they? If you have pace and can time a challenge you don't get bullied to f*** these days. Shane could be 5'11(however I doubt it) but he looks he weights like 130 pounds. Every other player you mentioned surely has twice as much muscle as Shane

TRon
It might be a bit risky but with Santon and Ferguson in tandem it would be kind of cool to have two Boy Wonder full backs. Unless they started shipping goals and started to be called Boy Blunder full backs instead.

Rich
He may look small but has he ever looked weak when playing, surely thats the important thing. Made some really exciting dribbles at times, too. Showed little fear. Get some signings made, loan him out to give him experience ala Tavernier. He'll hopefully be all the better for it and come the start of next season we'll have two young fullbacks chomping at the bit and knocking on the door. /idealworld

Guest dazzanufc1892
rafa and evra aren't big guys. Ashley cole has always been an undersized defender. Christ, gary neville wasn't exactly a man mountain, if he's got the ability, he's good enough
KaKa
Didn't we not buy Baines at one point because he was considered too small? Think we then got Enrique, which worked out in the end anyway, but still!

Sifu
He may look small but has he ever looked weak when playing, surely thats the important thing. He's looked pretty strong every time I've seen him play. Still young so in time, he will improve and probably bulk up a bit in the process. We'll see. Teasy
Size or power isn't a necessity, but it can help to make up for other short comings. Considering we know little about Ferguson as a defender its a legitimate worry IMO that he's so slight.
