We should be trying a bit of smash and grab on Everton like.

Baines and Santon either side  :smitten:

No offence to Neil but I don't think I would take any of their strikers. Saha is class but a crock and Beckford is good but not enough of an upgrade on what we have. Worringly I can't remember their other forwards

Andre-Pierre Gignac will not go to Saint-Etienne. And for good reason, says La Provence: Olympian striker is currently in England where he talks to a club, without it being possible to know which one. Remember that Fulham, Blackburn, Everton are the names of English clubs interested ...

Why aren't we joining this party?

because he's obese.

Would be a bit gutted if both SWP and Bellamy went to QPR... its the one club I wanted relegated this year  :weep:

Not sure they will do all that much, wasn't Bellamy shifted out to the wing last season? Bit odd because I thought he would score a mental amount of goals down there.

If we sign Balotelli , I will offer up a pig to the Gods.

As much as it could go spectacularly wrong, I would love to take a chance on the moody fucker. Like Bellamy and Barton, he's the sort of character that you hate if they play for your opponents but love to have on your side.

Obviously no chance of it happening, but would be nice.

Howay Ian, you cant hate Ballotelli, he's hilarious.

Aye, I chuckle at his moody attitude most of the time, I just mean he winds up opposing fans and players in general.

Freiburg remain hopeful they can keep striker Papiss Demba Cisse beyond transfer deadline day.

Blackburn, Sunderland and Fulham have all been linked with the in-demand 26-year-old this summer but failed to strike a deal.

Now Newcastle United have made a late bid to try and get him, but reports in Germany suggest that the North East club's offer was way below Freiburg's valuation of over £12million.

Newcastle were believed to be offering less than £9million and Freiburg insist that they want to keep Cisse.

Freiburg general manager Dirk Dufner told Sportinformationsdienst: "The topic of Papiss Demba Cisse getting a transfer is a closed one.

"He is to remain with us and we are purely delighted. He is a special player and we are favoured by fortune to have him under contract.

"We are looking forward to relishing this circumstance for a bit longer."

Cisse, who is contracted to Freiburg until June 2014, has made an excellent start to the new season with four goals in four games.

Anon via text: "Bobby Zamora just boarded a train at King' Cross heading to Newcastle. Wouldn't comment when asked if he was moving!!!"

*shudder*

30 years old. Mike Ashley no touch.
