Collage
Could see us going for Abdul Majeed Waris He was dominating in Allsvenskan where he played for BK Häcken a couple of years ago. Very pacy, scored 23 goals in a season. Not sure he would do well in the PL though, a bit limited, a bit Oba Martins.
Ikon
Doesn't matter. Have to get rid of the shit in charge first.
joeyt
Based on nothing, I reckon we'll be linked with Grzegorz Krychowiak from Reims

Guest chicken little
7m for micah richards - criminal we'd never be in for him, even if he would probably ask for piss-take wages after a decade at man city
midds
7m for micah richards - criminal we'd never be in for him, even if he would probably ask for piss-take wages after a decade at man city Nah, we can get half the player for a quarter of the price from France. Every penny counts, value > quality.
Dave
City will want around £7m Newcastle United will consider a £4m move for Micah Richards
Jtm_92
City will want around £7m Newcastle United will consider a £4m move for Micah Richards Try and get the fee down as much as possible, leave it and then try again with 2 days left, no deal is done, "couldn't get the deal over the line"

Jtm_92
if we lose debuchy, we will look into the french market again, would not be surprised if we are linked aurier.

Disco
Can we not play Richards centre back? I think he'd want paying for it therefore no.
Ronaldo
He's not very good at CB, tbh. Better than our lot, probably, mind.
Jtm_92
what sort of wages will richards be on ? £70,000 at least i think.
Deuce
I'd prefer Debuchy stay (of course), but Richards would be a good replacement when Debuchy does leave (which will likely be sooner than later). Sure as hell beats shoe-horning MYM into that RB slot. However, 'reality' dictates that we spend nickels and dimes on a young, cheap French/African Ligue 1 player. Preferably out of contract. Disco
what sort of wages will richards be on ? £70,000 at least i think. More than we'd be willing to pay at a fee more than we'd be willing to pay. Can't be buying players of sovereigns states, it weakens the whole argument.
joeyt
Unlikely to have the correct amount of GCSE's to join either
Sammys_Tekkers
While I'm not a fan of Richards, would be a decent enough replacement for Debuchy. Wouldn't be the worst signing in the world, but think we could get better value elsewhere, especially with his wage demands.

Richards injury history is scary however. Fear he will spend more time at a burger joint with ben arfa and saylor, rather than playing football :\ Good player when fit however! Ikon
Richards is one of the thickest players out there. According to Backe he just can't take any instructions whatsoever. Didn't matter what he and SGE told him he just couldn't get it Backe said that if he was smart like an average human being at least he could have been quite something. Hughesy
When Richards is fit , I think he is a quality player. Or maybe a better way of putting it is that he has all the attributes to be a quality player.
AyeDubbleYoo
Wouldn't go near Richards with his fitness record. We don't exactly have a great record of getting people fit.
