Olivier Bernard knows the drill -

seedorf77 olivier bernard

GIROUD AND YANGA-MBIWA WOULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR US I THINK

Although not many good players seems to be realistic.

Good words Olivier

Put in a good word in for us please

Some people saying a new striker isn't "THAT" important, fucking hell. Ba is the real deal, but he's the only one we have with genuine quality imo. Can't believe what i've been reading lately tbh. I like Best and i think he's done well, but the difference between them is huge, Best is a good squad player but not one good enough to be an integral part of our first eleven in the future (if we wanna aim higher that is)

If we have scouts to watch Luuk de Jong today, they'll be very, very impressed by John Guidetti. Looks a great player. Seen him mentioned before by Swedes on here, but had never really seen him play.

Plays for M'City or Chelsea doesn't he? Recognise his name from FM.

Aye. Man City. They have Balotelli, Aguero and Dzeko though, and I don't think Guidetti is one to be happy sitting on the bench.

What i more and more feel we need is a winger with decent end product. Not your classical two way winger. A real specialist who can come inside, go outside, give a good cross. A Robert, with that kind of quality in the side we would get tons more chances and we can afford having such a player now, especially with tiote and cabaye working their magic as they are right now.

Taarabt looked good today when he came on. Would still take him here :) imagine hum and Ben Arfa playing off Ba....

No thanks, really don't want him here. Sure he is talented but I'd worry about his influence on team spirit (ie. he'd more than likely be a detriment on team morale....).

Imagine if we went and got Cissokho, Mbiwi and Derdiyok/Giroud in January?

Imagine if we won the league. And then won the champions league the following season.

Buy Eduardo Vargas from U de Chile please. Going to be (already is) f***ing class.

Scores in the equivilant UEFA Cup final, yes please.

moved to Napoli for 14m+ euros.....don`t think we would have spent that amount

Speaking of other South American strikers.....there are 2 Colombian players that are highly rated in Jackson Martinez and Teófilo Gutiérrez.....don`t think they`d cost a whole lot....probably not on our radar anyway.

Has he? Can see him doing well there, wonder if he'll replace Lavezzi or someone.

Not seen Martinez but I reckon Teo would fail over here, decent finisher mind but I don't think he'd relish the physical side of things and he's partial to a dive/spat or two.

I`ve not seen either tbh but Vickery seems to go on about them , particularly Martinez.

About Vargas.....it`s been reported in a couple of sites....quotes etc

Was just about post Ridgewell before your edit.

Said it before, wouldn't mind him like. But that quote seems to suggest that we're only signing one player? I'd like to think we'll sign two players in January. Wishful thinking I know...
