Should he have to advertise the sale? Seems a bit of a worry this couldn't get done in private, which means two things; no-one is interested, certainly no-one that will be able to take the club any further forward or more likely the asking price is unrealistic. Hopefully he is true to his word for once and drops the price so he can fuck off before Christmas. I'm not sure what they want to achieve by publicly putting it up for sale. They don't give a shit about fans interests or uncertainty around the players, fans, club. never have so why start now? Going publicly is surely only to put the pressure on those that have already registered interest otherwise he is just setting himself up to look desperate so potential buyers will sit til he drops his asking price. The club is in the best place it's been for yonks, it's a brilliant time to destabilise it again. Quite simply were Amanda Staveley, those mysterious Chinese bidders or anyone else to have had a genuine interest in the club, this statement wouldn't exist.
