Mike Ashley

I think the DOF structure is a good one TBH, just putting someone competent in the job seems impossible.

Particularly when your shortlist is useless cockney pricks who'll accept a pittance.

Pittance? I'd happily blag a job as a useless cockney prick for £15 grand a week.

?

Isn't that the wage he was reported to be on yesterday?

Didn't see that.

I can't believe that Kinnear was that bad that some people would consider taking Lambshite back, I seem to remember rumours last year that the only reason the 5 transfers got "over the line" was because Ashley personally stepped in to negotiate.

Never heard that rumour. If its true then the role of DOF really doesn't exist.

Ashley's best move he could ever make would be to kiss KKs arse and beg him to be DoF like he was at Fulham.

I'll lick your bollocks if that happens.

Best thing Ashley can do is sell a 51 percent stake of the club off and become a silent partner (very silent), whilst an agreement is set in place for his percentage to be reduced on an annual basis.

If those two did a deal like that I'd give it three years max before there was a high profile legal dispute.

How can anyone be sure of this? It's not like we are privy to any list of the super rich? There's money out there of it's looked for. Let's not forget good old mike p*ssed away our chance to be city

how did he do that ?

IIRC went to Abu Dhabi or Dubai and rather than attending the proposed meeting him and Dekka went on the lash.

didn't that trip to Abu Dhabi or Dubai take place after City got taken over? They definitely went there after the Keegan fiasco

Yeah you could be right, he definitely declined City's owner's though before they bought the. I'd assume the Keegan fiasco trip was to meet people with a similar wealth
