Manchester United vs Newcastle United - Saturday 26th November @ 3pm

Disagree. I don't see him as an automatic s*** mark on the opposing team sheet, but no way would he walk into our central midfield ahead of Tiote and Cabaye.

I think he'd get in today ahead of Guthrie.

Carrick starting sounds good. Let's go!  :frantic:

How does that sound good?

He's a mediocre player. You couldn't figure that out by yourself?

Give over. He'd walk into our side and you'll call him fantastic.

Not on any recent form he f***ing wouldn't. Carrick of the past year or so getting in ahead of Cabaye and Tiote of the past year or so? Nope.

He would.

Good argument, you've convinced me.

It's just Ronaldo acting like Ronaldo, leave him be.

He wouldn't. Two can play at this game, sir.

Yep probably ahead of Guthrie though.

What argument were you expecting? If we're talking tangibles there's simply no argument to be had. His record speaks for itself.

He's a superb passer, and has played well enough this season and last to stroll into our side alongside Tiote.

You have a point with Cabaye being so erratic in his performances. I don't think we'll be saying the same things in 6 months though, purely a question of Cabaye getting to grips with the league right now.

I'd be interested to see one of these superb passes. I see him misplace multiple passes in almost every game. Playing "well enough doesn't get him in over Cabaye, unfortunately. It's a pointless argument, anyway.

Did you read the post? I said 'well enough this season and last to.....'.

He's played very well, better than Cabaye.
