Yesterday for example, Lo Celso should have been binned. It was correctly reviewed and the third party came to the incorrect decision.

Disagree.

The officials on the pitch missed the incident and didn't even check it themselves in the monitor.

Do they ever?

I don't watch much live football these days, so I don't get to see, but every time I see VAR used it appears as if the ref just stays on the pitch, waiting to be informed of the decision.

Peter Crouch podcast with Mike Dean is worth listening to. Nothing groundbreaking but a good laugh.

Refreshing to hear from a referee given how veiled they are from the media. A tough balance but I think they should be allowed to speak more and explain their decisions though I'm not sure as to how the best way to achieve this. Definitely merit in doing it though.

I also think, for what it's worth, that the timing of the fact that VAR had missed the red card (came out during the game) wasn't ideal. Would have been far better served releasing it post-match. Worse still, that VAR official did the Leicester v Man City game at 5:30 as well!

Every time we get the referee we got today he always lets the other team make any sort of challenge they want without giving a freekick and gives us a soft one. They could have been down to 10 men today, and should have had a fair few bookings.

VAR has to go.

VAR is brilliant.  It's not being used correctly by the idiots in charge.

Nah, it has to go.

Some of the rules aren’t helping either though. VAR is a pain but the handball rule is a farce.

Handball and offside.

The last World Cup was okay I thought? There were a couple of iffy decisions but the way it was used seemed fine.

It wasn't as shite as its been in the PL, but was still crap. Fucking hate not being able to celebrate goals anymore.

VAR is the best thing to happen to football in ages. PL is utilizing it horribly though. It literally makes things more right, here's the difference in the PL table without it:

Shit foor Wolves though.

1. Liverpool – 94 points (five points fewer, same position)

2. Man City – 84 points (three points more, same position)

3. Chelsea – 68 points (two points more, one position higher)

4. Wolves – 68 points (nine points more, three positions higher)

5. Man Utd – 66 points (same points, two positions lower)

6. Leicester – 58 points (four points fewer, one position lower)

7. Sheff Utd – 55 points (one points more, two positions higher)

8. Burnley – 55 points (one points more, two positions higher)

9. Arsenal – 54 points (two points lower, one position lower)

10. Tottenham – 53 points (six points fewer, four positions lower)

11. Everton – 52 points (three points more, one position higher)

12. Southampton – 46 points (six points fewer, one position lower)

13. West Ham – 45 points (six points more, three position higher)

14. Newcastle – 44 points (same points, one position lower)

15. Crystal Palace – 42 points (one point fewer, one position lower)

16. Brighton – 38 points (three points fewer, one position lower)
