Wasn't a serious comment was it? The only reason he's got 20 is because Benzema got 10.

Aye. Ben Arfa is a #10. If that's not available the closest you can get out of 23 is 20. Other 'attratice' numbers like 7 were already occupied, too.

Guest BEN BEN BEN ARFA

The team likely against Estonia

Lloris - Debuchy, Koscielny, Mexes, Clichy - Diarra, Cabaye, Nasri, Ben Arfa, Ribery - Benzema.

Koscielny, Clichy and Ben Arfa against Estonia?

Adil Rami has also lived for a while. The Valencia defender Alexis has coached the small. Photo strafed by his father, 8 year old boy stood out with his shirt three times too big for him. Before this friendly exchange, the children were treated to a tour of Clairefontaine and a light workout under the orders of Henri Emile, the sports coordinator of the Blues. At the end of the session, day visitors were treated to some questions. The small Kilian then asked if France would win the Euro ...

A little further, but with the same concern, the Blues have been entitled to a further session in late afternoon. On the menu: some physical workshops, with the game ball and one opposed to 10 against 10. Hugo Lloris, Anthony Reveillere, Adil Rami, Patrice Evra, Alou Diarra, Yohan Cabaye, Samir Nasri, Mathieu Valbuena, Jeremy Menez and Olivier Giroud formed the team with chasuble. In front, Cedric Carrasso was associated with Mathieu Debuchy, Laurent Koscielny, Philippe Mexes, Gael Clichy, Florent Malouda, Marvin Martin, Hatem Ben Arfa, Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery.

Wonder if that is their starting line-up vs England. It would make sense to have as many England based players who know how England play.

If anyone deserves to be dropped it should be Mexes but Blanc wont do that because he has a good understanding with Rami and have a very good defensive record with Mexes-Rami and the fact Mexes has a f*ck-tonne more experience than both Koscielny and Rami and more of a leader.

If Ben Arfa impresses because the majority of that team will play against England then that will probably be the team against England except Rami coming in for Koscielny.

Brilliant that Cabaye is a main stay and pretty much their first choice midfielder. :smitten:

It's ridiculous how much he cost us

According to L'Equipe, France's 'likely' XI v. Estonia tonight: Lloris. Debuchy, Rami, Mexes, Evra, Diarra, Malouda, Nasri, Benzema, Ribery.

:(

Edit: plus Cabaye I assume.

Edit edit: yeah.

Anyone seen tonight's match? Anything nice to tell about Benny?  :)

Nothing much, linked up the play here and there and had one good run which ended up in trying to do too much on his own, he didn't have enough time.

Did well when he came on, you could tell the wings are the most competitive positions in the side because the ones who came on were ball-hogging to the max trying to do something brilliant.  Kudos to Benny that he didn't get roped into doing that apart from once when he tried to do too much.  Otherwise made some good passes and was efficient in possession, seemed to be playing deeper than usual.
