Guest gggg
How is Martinez doing well by making them progressively worse, being last in the league and going down? Look how far ahead Norwich and Swansea are.
Smal
Norwich and Swansea have better players. Wigan used to have N'Zogbia, and players like Figueroa and Rodallega all playing well. Now all they have is Momo Diamé. Zog went, they didn't bring a suitable replacement in and Figueroa and Rodallega have turned to shit.
Guest gggg
Norwich and Swansea's entire teams are made up by lower league players, Wigan's have years of experience at this level. He did worse than Steve Bruce with the same team anyway.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
How is Martinez doing well by making them progressively worse, being last in the league and going down? Look how far ahead Norwich and Swansea are. They've lost N'Zogbia of course but I do think a front three of Moses, Rodallega and Crusat is good enough to survive. Yet to see any of his 'attacking style' flower. Although Wigan have never really had a consistent goal getter.
Guest gggg
Norwich's team today. Norwich were in League 1 two years ago, I like Martinez but he is doing a terrible job
Beren
Think the arguments may have been over-simplified IMO. This is Norwich's first season in the Prem, for example, think that's (oddly) a big advantage for them. Wigan have Caldwell at the back, man. CALDWELL. jdckelly
they've been long enough in the league to sign someone better than Caldwell, fact is since Martinez took over he's signed a load of guys who can pass a ball reasonably well but can't defend or score many goals his philosophy is something I like but he is useless at spotting players, £6m on Boselli case and point
Guest gggg
And Norwich have Zat Whitbread and Elliott Ward. Caldwell wouldn't be out of place in Norwich's squad and he's Wigan's worst player. I thought Martinez was supposed to know the foreign market and play passing football anyway, what's he playing Caldwell for then?
Ameritoon
Come on man, Americans do not name people Zat. Watched a bit of Lilla/Auxerre, a cameraman followed the Auxerre manager into the tunnel at halftime and he was having a go at Lille's manager (I believe) all the way until they got to the changing room. No clue what it was about, obvs.
Village Idiot
Rayo - Racing, what a game this has been. Racing went 0-2 up despite being down to ten men since min 2, and Rayo ended up winning 4-2. Massively entertaining.
Mikky
Watching Dijon vs Montpellier - Must say I am mighty impressed with Cognet - playing in central midfield: a very good passer and a very good dribbler - I can see why he's so highly sought after - he's a bit like Rob Lee in his style of play (??) and looks like Darren Huckerby Will watch Mapou-Mbiwa closely in the 2nd half - Don't think Giroud is playing Anyway its 0-0 at HT
The College Dropout
People really under-rate the power of momentum. Norwich/Swansea are used to winning. Morale has remained high for a long time for both clubs. That does wonders for your confidence, and a confident footballer is a better footballer. Let's see how they do next year or the year after when the star players get sold. Wigan have been battling relegation/bottom half of the table for years now with their best players being sold and to make matters worse they are never a PL side anyway. Guest Heneage
Norwich and Swansea have very clear understandable styles of football. Their tactical mantra's are very obvious when you watch them play. Wigan by contrast look like a meld of 2-3 which just destroys and fluidity to their play, that's why they're so shit.

It's the same way that they are used as a stick to beat Pardew by some people, "If their 10th then......"

Disco
Disco, just out of interest, are you from Argentina? No? Nay, just follow the league. Wigan have lost their knack of finding stars in lesser leagues/nations that they had under Brewcie plus Rodallega turning to shit has fucked them massively. Disco
Munich got beat again today. Big pressure must be building on Heynckes. Dortmund about to win 2-1 if it stays same too.

ponsaelius
Munich got beat again today. Big pressure must be building on Heynckes. Apparently lost a lot of the dressing room. They looked really formidable early on in the season. Would be pretty funny if Basel finished the job.
