Mole_Toonfan
hmm as long as he's part of the front 3 its ok. Remy and Ben Arfa as part of a midfield 4 would be insane

KDT
Cisse was linked to Trabzonspor in a very informative article in the Daily Mail today, the level of journalism was quite something.
TRon
If we were to get Gomis and Remy i'd rather we focus on getting a left winger in than another striker. Gomis, Remy, Cisse and Gouffran is definitely enough. I'm seeing Remy as a winger for us. Benny - Gomis/Cisse - Remy Is Remy a winger? He can play wide, but rather more a striker than part of the supply line I'd have thought.

Kanj
In FIFA last night I decided to go- ------Cabaye--Sissoko---------- ---Remy--------------HBA ------------Gomis--------------- ------------Cisse---------------- But it was Remy and HBA as RW/LW, Gomis as CF and Cisse as ST. I won 5-4 Oh and I forgot to mention Debuchy and Santon were RWB and LWB.

Kanj
Ah yes, b/c my FIFA dealings from weeks ago would do that. I also moved Debuchy, Sissoko and Mapou over long long before they signed ffs.

Like has been mentioned a few times now, it could still work if we had a genuine left footer at LB who could overlap, but we don't.

ExiledGeordie
The options if we get Remy as well in midfield and attack will be immense. Definitely, it's the ability to stretch a defence with real pace.
themanupstairs
The options if we get Remy as well in midfield and attack will be immense. Definitely, it's the ability to stretch a defence with real pace. This is why we shouldn't have been faffing about in the off-season. We are just over a whisker away from having a very dangerous first 11 that can produce some serious results on its day. Getting Remy and Gomis in, and keeping Cisse and the rest, will transform our football and results somewhat by default.
Ronaldo
Not even Pardew can stop that lot, man. We'd fucking steamroller sides at home and be very dangerous away from it.

Rich
Wigan's James McCarthy next in line with Bafetimbi Gomis on verge of Newcastle switch http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/wigans-james-mccarthy-next-in-line-with-bafetimbi-gomis-on-verge-of-newcastle-switch-8744474.html Martin Hardy, who tends to be one of the better ones at sounding like he knows what he's talking about despite consistently being wide of the mark. Reckons McCarthy is lined-up to replace PSG-bound Cabaye.
jdckelly
seems more speculation of in case Cabaye goes to PSG which theres been no real sign of yet. Good player surprised no ones moved for him yet
