Mick
Aye, what the f*** was that mick? Do you see no irony in somebody talking to the press and playing a part in one person having his photo splashed all over while not wanting the same for himself? Dokko
:'( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-23424012? Madou Diene, the player's agent, said: "Papiss Cisse is not a gambler." Bang to rights, chips in hand gambling.
Interpolic
Duo and 'polic are bang on imo. The fans/local media really should be blasting Wonga instead of directing their fury at Cisse because his beliefs seem bit mixed up. I agree, but the fans do fuck all these days. Same goes with the results, pardew, all the other shit, the fans just turn up and Ashley doesn't care. Wonga are a shit company, so are SD, Pardew is a shit manager, Kinnear a fucking loon it goes on and on...Cisse isn't helping things, if he's that bothered hoy in a TR and let us all move on. What his game is I haven't got a clue, don't really care, i just want him playing next season or him off the books and new strikers in willing to play for the club. Without players willing to play we are completely fucked. This just reminds me of when Keegan sued the club and people were delighted when he wanted to take £20m off us, yeah, that is really going to help. Madness man. Keegan had every right to sue the arseholes who fucked him over and regarding your other post I drew the line at legalised loansharks, as did you and many others. It doesn't mean I'll stop watching football like, but it was another kick in the balls I wasn't happy with. Same as you, I won't wear the logo and am disgusted at us yet again. The fact we are having problems because of it now is yet another reason to detest the decision.

We've all just got to get on with it, no one is happy about this and Cisse has now painted himself in to a corner and that last picture is concrete proof he gambles therefore as said 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'
Dokko
I honestly can't understand why their are NUFC fans on twitter outwardly sharing these photos? That photo was tweeted to Wraith, what the fuck is the point? Maybe they want resolution one way or another. This forces Cisse to make a decision; stick or twist.
Dave
I honestly can't understand why their are NUFC fans on twitter outwardly sharing these photos? That photo was tweeted to Wraith, what the fuck is the point? Because ultimately - rightly or wrongly - people will defend the club ahead of any player, despite how previously popular they may be. Even if the club is rotten to the core and run by absolute cunts with no morals.

Disagree, he obviously wants out of the club (don't really blame him)but does not have the balls to say so.. Without a doubt one of my favourite players but the way he has went about this stinks. Hope the club come out and put him up for sale.

I quite agree, but it's the same any time a player is looking like they might leave for any reason. They transform into greedy/hypocritical/shit bastards almost overnight. The club have it so easy it's unreal.

AyeDubbleYoo
But isn't it natural to support the club ahead of individuals? I disagree with rapid changes of mind over players obviously.
thomas
I'm curious as to why all of this is kicking off only just now when Wonga was announced in September of last year.
Interpolic
I don't think it's natural to start foaming at the mouth calling players they once adored greedy judas cunts as soon as they get into a dispute with the pricks running the club or look like they might leave, no. Would say that's pretty extreme behaviour.
B-more Mag
Management seems totally incapable of handling any situation professionally. This isn't that hard of a problem. If he has an issue wearing the logo, you meet with him, let him know that you appreciate his concerns and will try to work with him to address the situation. But you also lay out the facts that he has a contract with the club, that the club has a contract with the sponsor, and that those contracts present certain limitations on what each party is entitled to do. If they can reach a reasonable resolution within the confines of those limitations, great. If not, then promptly do what needs to be done to mitigate the harm to the club. Above all, do it quickly, and do your best to keep it out of the press.

TK-421
I'm curious as to why all of this is kicking off only just now when Wonga was announced in September of last year. Well its only really since they returned to pre-season training that they've had to wear kit with 'Wonga' on it.

Because the club have done fuck-all about it, presumably hoping it would blow over.
