jdckelly
People do seem to forget how mint he was in that first 6 months. I am a bit stumped as to how to get him back in form though, we can't afford to leave him leading the line as we haven't the goals in the rest of the team and his offsides leave us losing the ball. Could get him playing with the reserves if that wouldn't destroy his confidence? Probably would but need to get him scoring again. nope it just hard to keep defending someone after coming up on a season and a half of poor-shocking performances with the odd good game where he scores and even thats dried up. The College Dropout
Including last season and this seasons - has someone ever scored as many goals that have ended up being ruled out? I remember at least 6-7 last season and a couple from this season now. Yes some are self inflicted but had even half of them stood we wouldn't necessarily be thinking he had completely lost it and was a lost cause etc etc He's also had offside goals incorrectly allowed. Cajun
My issue with them is he doesn't need to be offside most of the time, I have nothing against players gambling on beating the offside trap but he plays like a slower version of Shola and seems to think he needs a massive head start to beat any defender in this league. healthyaddiction
Really, there's no video showing it and the best I can find is a comment on the BBC saying it might have been offside.
The College Dropout
Look man, it was offside. For someone that plays on the shoulder like that he'll have some wrongfully ruled off and others wrongfully ruled on.

Mattoon
Absolutely gutted for Cisse, obviously has some class about him, I just don't know where his head is at, he either needs no game time for a while, get him fired up, a new manager to sort him out or just shipping out to another team to build up his confidence again. I just wonder if he'll ever get out if this funk again?

I just wonder if he'll ever get out if this funk again? He will, he's not gone from a £10m striker to a total turd. But as Robbie Kean said this morning, the disallowed goal will probably keep him back in the funk for another game or two at least.
The College Dropout
Apart from maybe his spell towards the end of last season he's never looked a £10 striker. All the other time it's been £30m world beater or £400k waster.
buzza
If there is any truth in the QPR swap rumour, we need to do this asap. Really feel his only benefit to the team when he comes on now is running down opposition defenders, nowhere near good enough and can't believe why Pardds brings him on before Hatem... KaKa
The thing I don't understand is his hold up and link up play. When he first joined, I don't remember thinking this part of his game was poor at all. If he was still doing these things well, then it would be fine to keep him in the first team till he found his goal scoring touch again. However, this part of his game has been so diabolically bad it's untrue. Therefore, we can't afford to carry him. This is what ultimately annoys me the most, as there is no reason this part of his game should be suffering, as he is capable of doing it so much better, like he was when he first joined. Very annoying.
AyeDubbleYoo
His base level of hold-up play is actually very decent. Guess it's a combination of shattered confidence and limited minutes making his touch a bit worse.

Guest icemanblue
Keeper had also stopped playing, like. That's not to say he wouldn't have scored, but it would have panned out differently had the flag not gone up. Probably best to say that he was robbed of a fantastic chance, rather than a goal.
