Guest bimpy474
Also involved against Norwich are midfielder Danny Guthrie and utility man James Perch, with those making way today being Davide Santon, Cheick Tiote and Gabriel Obertan. The changes in personnel are expected to see United line-up slightly differently from normal, with Jonas Gutierrez dropping back into a left-back role. Perch should play alongside Guthrie in the middle of the park, with Yohan Cabaye asked to take up a spot on the left flank, but tucking inside, while Hatem Ben Arfa will continue on the right wing. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20120318/newcastle-v-norwich-trio-of-changes_2281670_2664392?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Thats feckin mental if true......strange line up when you can just put Perch at left back. Ameritoon
If we're still sticking with a 4-4-2 while doing this...then fuck.
Guest Stephen927
Fully expect Cabaye to be looking for the diagonal ball into Ba, think that'll be our main tactic.

Dokko
That line up is horrific, fully expecting a defeat now, draw if were lucky.
Shak
What in the shit? Just play Perch LB FFS.
aussiemag
I think it could work. With Cabaye playing narrow, itll give license for Gutierrez to overlap from a deeper position. Can see a more narrow 4-3-3 with the fullbacks attacking alot more than we are used to.

Cajun
Mental line up, maybe to give Ben Arfa more freedom but Guti isn't exactly the least protective midfielder around

Sifu
I don't mind the line up as such, I'm just having reservations about the system we're presumably adopting.

Shak
It's either brave or stupid from Pardew if he is doing that. He'll get fucking lynched if it doesn't work, and rightfully so.
