Big Geordie
Chatting with an old Uni mate who is a Stokie. Says they were well beaten today, but when I asked if Pullis has taken them as far as he can, he says he'd like him to stay around a bit longer. Guess the style must work for some folk! ujpest doza
They were awful. Worst I've seen a team play this season (apart from maybe Wolves against Man U not so long ago) I didn't think they were that bad to be honest. We were bloody good and hardly broke sweat but they weren't that bad.

I doubt their second half offered up much more.

cubaricho
but once Cabaye and then Cisse breached their defence, Newcastle oozed confidence and controlled the game with a swagger expected of a top-four team. Swagger. :smitten: :smitten:

PENKAAA
Were they new advertising boards in front of the milburn to try and limit their run ups on long throws? Yeah, didn't have much of an effect though.
Disco
Aye, Shotton only had one long throw opportunity though. On the note of Shotton, nowt like accommodating a FB on the wing because he has a big hoy. Classic Pulis.

A fair number of them didn't return for the 2nd half either. Hats off to those who did though, there was a group up of 100 at the top going mental the whole second half. JH
When was that mint bring down from HBA when Tiote launched it across the pitch and HBA just stood on and stopped the ball? Sure it was in the first half but didn't see it on SS2 there.
