First words LLLO said in the pub after the game - "it was like being back in the Championship". Absolutely nailed it. Stoke are no better than the likes of Burnley and Hull. No craft whatsoever in the team and never looked like scoring.

Agreed. Most comfortable win of the season, was never once worried that they were gonna score never mind make a game of it.

It was clear from the off that Stoke were there to stifle us, bully us, complain alot and stop us playing.

Fair play to them though - they never stopped complaining. 1 outta 4

Stoke need to be worried IMO, even the physical intimidation seems to have gone from their game.

We said the same when we dicked them there though. Unfortunately I think it was a case of once they went down they weren't too arsed today.

Not taking anything away from our superb performance.

That we did the double over an anti-football team like Stoke by playing fast, fluid passing football just makes it even more sweet. A victory for the game as well as us. The whole nation should be proud.  :smug:

Apparently we were lucky again today, if you listen to Stoke's Boss. They should have won 3 nil with a hatrick from Walters and all our goals were because of poor play by them, why can't these bloody managers give credit where credit is due ?

Stoke manager Tony Pulis: "We had a lot of chances today. Jon Walters, who I think the world of, could have come out of the game scoring a hat-trick.

"But the difference in both boxes was they hit the target and we never. From being very much in the game we were 2-0 behind after two very poor goals.

"At the start of the second half we thought if we could get that goal it would have been game on. But the third goal was very poor again and that gave them the momentum to go on.

"You've got to give our players credit - they kept going and kept going. I don't think it was that bad a performance."
