Mole_Toonfan
He's been France's right back for a while now hasn't he? I'd expect if he was s*** he'd have been found out by now. Aye basically.
eliassenfredrik
Nah, no pen.
Guest taps01
Not worried about him in the slightest.
Guest taps01
Regardless if it was a pen or not it was a daft challenge.
Superior Acuña
I was worried whenever they attacked him in the second half last night. Also thought he might've been injured in last 20mins? Got clattered a few times and was holding his leg and stomach (not just to show to ref but later when game was in-play). As said, early days, i'm not too worried. Unbelievable
He didnt put a foot in though He did, actually caught Agbonlahor's foot too. Stupid decision to go in rash like that in your own penalty area when the opposition player is moving away from goal. Stay on your feet and just shepherd him out before making a challenge. Ne he didn't. Agbonlahor stood on Debuchy's foot and proceeded to go down like he'd been sniped. I saw it exactly the other way. May need to watch it again. I think he was surprised by Agbonlahor's burst of pace to get to the ball before him as he had already committed to the tackle. Right, those pics WBCP posted prove me wrong: Agbonlahor stepped on Debuchy's foot, not the other way around. Not a pen in that case tbf.
Wilson
Aye, I'm happy enough to say I'm wrong as well, seeing it last night I thought Debuchy had stepped on Agbonlahor's foot. Diving wanker.
Skeletor
He fell victim to a fantastic piece of cheating by Agbonlawhore. Villa were cheating as much as they could in the second half, diving, trying to kick us off the park, playing on after they'd injured our players, raking studs down Jonas legs and trying to wind him up, and it still didn't work. That's why the victory was that much more satisfying.
sugoinufc
soft pen maybe....but he still gave the ref a chance to award it. No need to do that...it was not a dangerous situation. silly mistake. learn from it and move on...
Guest bimpy474
Smug is i, told you Awhore dived
alexf
Just add him to the list. Ashley Young, Gerrard, Rooney, Agbonlahor, Welbeck, and many many more. The amount of English players I see diving now. Really annoys me when i hear pundits blaming it all on the foreign players.
KaKa
He didnt put a foot in though I don't know why people can't see this The guy never even saw Agbons! He snuck up on Debuchy, nicked the ball, and then fell over!
basjen
He seems a bit too slow imo. Apart from that I believe he will be great, good going forward, tough and experienced.
AyeDubbleYoo
soft pen maybe....but he still gave the ref a chance to award it. No need to do that...it was not a dangerous situation. silly mistake. learn from it and move on... I'm not sure it's realistic for a player to go around thinking "he might dive, he might dive..." all the time. Dunno.
Nobody
http://imageshack.us/a/img515/3136/screenshot20130130at112.png This picture tells you all you need to know, no one in the history of being tripped falls with their arms flying like that; only divers throw their arms up in the air. Still shouldn't even have given Agbonlahor the chance to dive like.
Geordie Ahmed
soft pen maybe....but he still gave the ref a chance to award it. No need to do that...it was not a dangerous situation. silly mistake. learn from it and move on... I'm not sure it's realistic for a player to go around thinking "he might dive, he might dive..." all the time. Dunno. Not all the time BUT when the player is going away from goal, is almost outside of the box why give the player a chance to dive? Just sheperd him out the box and then put a foot in if need be
Wilson
Just add him to the list. Ashley Young, Gerrard, Rooney, Agbonlahor, Welbeck, and many many more. Don't forget Ba.
Kanj
Looked at it a few more times last night and this morning - soft pen. Gabby made a meal of it as well. Something that is sadly "part of the game" as commentators and pundits say. Played football my entire life - that was some theatrical shit by Gabby man. TherealnorthernTOON
Worrying that he gets caught out with the pace tbf, hope he will learn fast and will come back never getting beaten come next year.
ExiledGeordie
Big learning experience for him last night. It always takes players a little bit of adjustment to the speed of the game here when they arrive. Evra and Vidic struggled at first and Debuchy has been thrown straight into it to be fair. Mole_Toonfan
Tbf to him, he was caught out by Agbonlahor and much quicker players than Debuchy have been burnt by his pace. I agree he needs to adjust to the pace of the league and knowing when he can stay back, go forward or hold on to the ball etc etc but never the less you won't find many quicker players in the league. AyeDubbleYoo
Yes, but big dive is the important point.
