Does seem worrying mind that the random hidings we got last year from the likes of Norwich, Wigan & Fulham away seem to still be there.

Aye that's the only thing that's really concerned me about this. If there's one thing we need to get rid of altogether from last season, it's the tendency to absolutely fall to bits. Losing is part of the sport, we're not going to go the season unbeaten - but getting absolutely caned every time we lose gets tedious and kills the goal difference.

:frantic: we're losing a pointless friendly match 3-0! Parew out, we're going to be destroyed in the league this season  :frantic:

Sounds like we're just trying to give people a run out here, would like it if Campbell got thirty minutes. In spite of it being a pre-season game, Pardew's not going to pleased with a first half of almost no chances created and the other team looking like scoring with every chance

People are getting far too worked up over these friendlies like. If the coaching staff weren't happy with the fitness levels of Cisse/Ba/Cabaye et al, they'd be playing. They're obviously content with them and don't want to risk them picking up injuries ahead of spurs.
