Ronaldo
'Do you want Alan Pardew to be manager of NUFC next season?' should be the poll choice. 99% 'no' tbh.

dcmk
From Saturdays fixture through until the end of this season, he has no excuses left to use. If the team wins tomorrow, after having a weeks break in between fixtures and away to a good team, he buys himself quite a lot of time.
Away Toon
I don't get to any matches, living 5000 miles away, is the atmosphere at the games at all like the general consensus on here? I don't get the feeling it is which is strange and disappointing. If Ashley is determined to stick by Pardew, the only way he will change his mind, is if the crowd get after him, or stop turning up every week. If Ashley is determined to stick by Pardew, the only way he will change his mind, is if the crowd get after him, or stop turning up every week. My feeling is that most percentage of the stands have kept tight lipped because of a) last season and b) a lack of investment in the summer - and also as past experiences have shown, wild protest from the stands whilst tempting more often than not have a detrimental affect with goings on on the pitch (See Hull city game at SJP). It won't last though and sunday really could be the catalyst for what probably is justified negativity. Pardew has been unbelievably lucky to have such patient support at Newcastle, but the continued garbage being served up is beginning to get really tiresome, eventually the fans will turn if it keeps up. Reading at home turned ugly but results picked up after.
Guest Spiria
http://www.itv.com/news/tyne-tees/update/2013-04-19/full-interview-alan-pardew/ It's always the same comments in his post-losingmatch interview. Sometimes I just ask myself if he doesn't record the interviews for all the match the same day : he just has to change the name of the opponent. He should change his hairstyle each time it would be more funny.

Ronaldo
I couldn't believe how silent most of the people at the game were on Sunday, especially when it became clear we were a beaten side. Fair few individuals screaming for Pardew out come FT, though. Get the feeling that the vast majority are thinking the same thing, just not quite ready to be vocal about it. I'm not so sure it's that people are not quite ready to be vocal about it. I think it's more a case of it doesn't really matter what we think as fans, Ashley will do as he thinks fit. Look at the fan reactions to the Keegan resignation and the Carrol sale, it didn't make the slightest bit of difference. One thing I would say though, if we didn't have the best prices in the Premier League the crowds would be nothing like they are. He's got that right, it's cheap and he's offering a nasty product currently. Cheap and nasty just lik Sports Direct.
Weezertron
I think people believe there's a fair bit of kudos for backing the manager.

We've had so many performances identical to that (with varying results) that it really shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise.
Stuy_O
Yup, my gut feeling was we'd start like we did and the excuses were already in place with the match we played on thursday. Some were anticipating a rout from us for some crazy reason.

Robster
'I'd rather play and give it a go in a Europa League quarter-final, and they can only dream of that.' Small time bastard. Sorry. AyeDubbleYoo
He did say it aye, obviously he would be better not mentioning it but it doesn't sound as bad in context with the rest of the interview.

I was vocal most of the 2nd half to my displeasure at Pardew & The Team. Walked out after the 3rd to give those around me some peace and quiet. TBF I couldn't fathom why anyone was chanting "Alan Pardew's Black & White Army" even before it was clear we were totally dead and buried...but they fucking well were. There's still quite a difference between the mood on here and the mood on the terraces, IMHO.

People were singing it v Reading for example and then 2nd half booing, "don't know what your doing"etc being sung.
Chris_R
Can't wait to see what dross we get served up with tomorrow. Irrespective of the result, it'll be 7 or 8 behind the ball at all times with us relying on Ben Arfa, Cissoko and Cisse to unlock the entire opposition for 90 minutes.
