Rich
Fair play Pards, was gonna rape you for those subs if it had stayed 0-0.
Guest neesy111
Credit where it's due, he gets lots of stick for his half time talks, we were much better after half time today. Tbf, we couldn't get much worse than the 1st half. Really weren't that bad, were frustrated in the final 3rd. Were on top though. Fulham were the better team 1st half. Meh. Never felt they were in it bar that scramble. The onus was on us to score. I get the feeling they'd have been delighted with the point. They did come for the point I agree, but we had no attacking impetus 1st half and it was the usual shite. Playing too deep, Cabaye too deep, only 1 player in the box etc.
Big Geordie
Fair play to him for going for the win today - would have been easier to play for the draw. Not convinced he is the man long term, though.
Ronaldo
Did little wrong today. Great to see him celebrating with the fans.
Vinny Green Balls
As much as he's fucked up this season, he really comes across as a charming motherfucker in the post match interviews. Can't fault his passion.
Stuy_O
Reactions and passion like that is why I sorta stick with him, despite his faults. Love to see it.
Mick
Today shows just how wrong he's been so far this season, if we were used to playing the way we did today we would be much higher up the league than we currently are. Why couldn't he have had this attitude from the start?
Stuy_O
Should start games like we finished that one. The difference would be huge without doubt.

Varadi
Well played today, got pretty much everything right under really big pressure. I just can't help liking the bloke - celebration at the end was magic.

Mick
If Cisse hadn't have scored that winner you'd be f***ing raging. Not true, we were doing all we could and Cisse could have had 3 or 4 before he scored.
Disco
Starting XI was what near everyone wanted, not sure we reacted well enough when Santon went off but 2nd half can't ask for much more really. If nowt else he's finally instilled a never say die draw attitude.
Cajun
Today shows just how wrong he's been so far this season, if we were used to playing the way we did today we would be much higher up the league than we currently are. Why couldn't he have had this attitude from the start? It's performances like the second half that makes me think there is potential for him to change. He is capable of getting good performances from us but he doesn't do it nearly enough. I don't expect us to dominate teams all game, every game because that isn't realistic but we don't play like that as often as we should. That's why I am one of those idiots who will give him a period of next season to see if he is capable to getting more out of us than he has this season. It was 1 game and a game in which he couldn't afford to sit back, he had no real choice and he'll be back to normal as soon as he can do it.

That doesn't make sense. You can have such a positive attitude and tactics no matter what the personnel are. Look at how entertaining Blackpool were to watch in their season up with what was the worst squad in the league.

Guest icemanblue
Can't be faulted today. We were missing a lot of first team players, and lost another 15 minutes in. Thought the reshuffle stifled us, but was necessary. We had a lot of players in their half earlier on, with Sissoko looking more of a threat coming from deep. The changes resulted in it being back to just Cisse and Moussa +1, and the first half fizzled out. Thought we came out to the second half looking very purposeful in our attacking though, with Marveaux and Anita having one of their best games for us. Glad he took Simpson off as that allowed us to keep the pace of our counter attacks throughout the team, rather than coming to a stand still with his every touch. Fully deserved win and some class scenes at the end. Hope this gives him the encouragement to attack the Benfica and mackems games.

Showing a positive attitude and attacking tactics is nothing to do with personnel. Anycase we had the players to play attacking football at the start of the season.
