Tbh it would not be ideal but if we don't lose anyone and everyone will have had more time (time=improve) then we will have done well. Maybe some people will get injured this season too so they might be like new signings. Anyway how can we buy someone good to improve our (good)team? Teams don't like to sell good players. We'll start weakly as we struggle at first to adapt to the many games but we could end well based on the fact that... a) We'd probably be out of Europe and the cups by then. b) We could have a decent January window with all the budget of the Summer window carried over. c) I doubt we'll lose Ba and Cisse to the ACoN as Ivory Coast are favoured to win that qualifying group. d) The spirit and quality within the squad just assures me of top half. afar Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 Hugely disappointing window really, too many teams have improved around us and I worry about a few of our players. Will Cabaye continue to produce or does he feel like he's already made it in England, early form is a worry. Can Cisse and Ba play together can either capture the form of last year. The right back spot is extrmely suspect. Squad is thin as fuck. I'm going for a 9th place finish, wouldn't be surprised if it's a little lower still, but no danger of a relegation fight.
