FFS why is Niall Quinn a pundit again?

Glad someone said that, i now know to mute the tv.

He's at QPR's place so won't be co-commentating on our game. Neither will Wilkins.

Ah, just put it on. Will mute before the game and at half time regardless :D

How many goals has Jackie Milburn scored against the Mackems?

11, Shola has 7.

How many has Shearer btw?

Not sure, some people think it was only 3, 2 at home 1 away but I can count at least 2 away so I'm saying 4.

Was also thinking it wasn't that many. At least he got his last goal against them 2006...

:smitten:

Still get emotional watching that game. Coming from behind, Shearer scoring that penalty, Shearer getting injured & ending his career....

This is going to be ugly.

- Long ball at Shola

- Simpson and Willo that are worse than s***

- Low defence that will give Sunderland the momentum.

We basically has to win.

Shola will dominate in the air against that Irish cunt.

Simpson will deliver a floated cross at Williamson that will lead to a goal.

Sunderland are fucking crap and haven't had momentum in a game for about 15 years.

Basically, fuck the red and white cunts.

It's a mentality more than anything. Despite Cisse's superior quality as a player, Sunderland defenders will always have in the back of their minds that Shola always scores against them.

If I was an opposing defender I'd be happy if I saw that Cisse was voluntarily dropped for Shola. Shola's a derby hero, no doubt, but he's a significantly inferior player.

Cracking little piece that.

I quite liked it

Apart from the drivel saying both teams measure success about how they do against the other lot. They do but we certainly don't. Today is all about Newcastle losing for them, not about Sunderland winning.

Pardew said something like Cisse didnt understand the importance of the derby last year or something

Do any of our foreign players until they play in it the first time?

Cabaye seemed pretty fired up last year
