cubaricho
I prefer it without the manufacture labels. Why would I care who makes the kit? The only thing which should be on the shirt is the badge in my opinion. Agreed. It looks much better without any labels on it. I'd prefer it with no sponsor as well, just the badge. Kanj
Without labels looks like you bought it from a mall kiosk on a trip to Orlando's outlets. No bueno. Looks like cheap polyster that would pill and be destroyed after 1 wish.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
anyone know where still does the '97-'07 numbers? Re-bought the '01-'03 home top a while ago as I wrote a message to SBR on my old one and left it in the Leazes in 2009. Want to get "Speed 11" on the back of this new one. No, I'd just rather own the actual kit from that time made from the original manufacturer thats all. Also, I live in Orlando and I cringe every time I see a kiosk kit of some kid wearing some old fake top.
Toon Hoser
I own a couple of these retro tops - they are made well and good quality material. If they were tatty crap I'd say so. Missing maker logo doesn't bother me.
Guest firetotheworks
It's crazy what you want when youre a kid. I had the asics one with the star AND the one with McEwans lager! It's daft.

Kaizero
Remakes of kits are like remakes of movies, the original will always feel more right and it'd be cooler to find an original version of something old rather than buy a remake, even if it'd be cheaper, because it just doesn't feel as it should as it truly wasm't actually "the" kit. Guest chicken little
Found my original 96 away shirt when I moved house last July. Got a semi-on.
Guest chicken little
The one that came after seems a bit of a forgotten classic: http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/large/NewcastleASS9697a-G8.gif Considering how some of the shit we've had down the years has aged, that still looks smart as fuck. wormy
Don't recall the kit being particularly uncomfortable, but I was 6. Just loved me dad coming home from visiting my gran with a new kit every time.
Dave
Tbf I'm assuming it's the same stuff as was on the 97-99 home kit, the shield one. Looks like it. Fucking awful feel.

That collar material. Had it. Can remember it being abit rought on the neck playing footy. Still loved wearing it at the time though (like nearly every kit back then) p.s. do remember the shirt material being lush. ALSO I always used to love picking the white bits of material out from the inside of the tops on the logos, like from inside the d's on addidas

Super Duper Branko Strupar
That collar material. The Brown Ale logo was ridiculous as well. Far too stiff compared to the rest of the shirt. Saying that I bought one on ebay a few months back.
