M1tche
If it's a low cost loan then why not? It's a gamble, but one worth taking I think.
ponsaelius
Ba didn't win anything at Chelsea. Remy played a relatively important squad role in a league title.

mighty__mag
Ba didn't win anything at Chelsea. Remy played a relatively important squad role in a league title. His record since leaving us is dismal. Think I read he hadn't scored for over 18 months.
Kanji
Frustrating thing for me about Remy was how good of an overall footballer he was - a couple of winners in there that I went mental over.
Nobody
Ba over Remy any day of the week for me. That's not saying Remy wasn't very good, but the way Ba could score from absolutely nothing was just incredible.
Kanji
i also preferred Ba as well to be clear. Fantastic striker.
Guest firetotheworks
I don't think I'll ever get it, I thought he was good, but people seem to see much more in him than I ever did.
Dinho lad
Ba for me - the loveable, big fucker.
Guest neesy111
Ba for me, knew how to play the role in the team perfectly.
Dave
Where exactly has all this come from anyway? Can't see it happening in the slightest.
Deuce
At this point in his career, he seems ready-mate for a move to China or Turkey

Consortium of one
That first half season from Papiss Cisse in 2012 was unworldly.
HaydnNUFC
Can't see us going for him, especially as Rafa said he looks at players' attitudes before signing them. Remy's is s***.
Tsunami
He can get stuffed, refused to play in the final game of the season iirc
toontownman
The romantic sentimentality is always going come out with Remy who just oozed style and class on and off ball. The type of flair player fans love. Most of the same fans enjoyed Kluivert being here albeit briefly and far past his best. Remy was smart and had the skill to back it up. Ba did far more for us, often away from where he preferred through the middle. Like cisse there was a time where the ball would just go in the net for him and he was always in the right place. Easy to romanticize the flair player though. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Ronaldo
Remy for me, Ba was more physical though. Only you could get that so spectacularly backwards.
Andy84
Remy's goals carried us in his loan spell 13/14, he had a lot of quality. We were desperate for him to come back the following season but he was always going to Chelsea. Seems his career since is typical of footballers with his character, he lacks the hunger for it. On his day though he was a really good striker. Turkey or China awaits
