Varadi
Current top scorers: Luis Suarez 23 Daniel Sturridge 18 Sergio Agüero 15 Yaya Touré 13 Olivier Giroud 12 Eden Hazard 12 Loïc Remy 12 He's in some pretty decent company there, despite playing for a shitter team than the rest of them and missing quite a few games - someone is almost certain to offer him a lot more money than us I reckon. The College Dropout
We need to keep him or we're f***ed for goals next season. Last season showed if that spine doesn't play well. We are royally f'd. Krul-Colo-Tiote-Cabaye-Star srtriker Last year only Krul & Cabaye had decent seasons and we struggled very badly. Without Ba we would've been relegated. Before his injury I thought he was pretty decent. He also scored some important goals that earned us points (Liverpool, Sunderland). He looked below par for about 2/3 games prior to his injury/surgery but he started the season well enough. He also came back and won us some more points straight away with some good performances. On here, you're either shit or brilliant. Very little middle ground. Thought Krul was okay & Cabaye were okay. Colo, Tiote & Cisse where consistently poor for large parts of the season. Tell you what he definitely was, a drama queen who needed to be centre of attention all the time (along with being a fantastic player). It'll be interesting at PSG because he wont get that type of fawning there.
Deputy Dawg UK
Loved that finish and celebration, after watching the DVR of the match. Even if he's a total mercenary I agree I think he showed a lot of passion ..... it was a good sign but still don;t think he will come

midds
It's all about managing the fans and their expectations with Pardew and always has been. He'll mention the fact we probably won't sign him permanently in the summer more and more so the fans get used to the idea and by the time his loan expires the fan's expectations of seeing Remy next year will be zero and will therefore cause no upset/unrest. He's very quick to tell us what we, as a club, can't do. We can't sign top players, we can't pay big wages, we can't compete, we can't compete in Europe, we can't handle 2 games a week and we can't break into that top 7. The fan-base has heard so much negativity that it's become numb and de-sensitised to ambition. Some have been convinced that all of the shit that spews from all sources within the club that mediocrity is actually success. Not investing, under the guise of financial prudence, is something to be applauded. Stagnation is spun as 'stability', fan's apathy is actively encouraged and any/all ambition is to be crushed. Losing out on Remy is inevitable, they won't even fucking bother. They've got no intention of signing him and if Remy has an ounce of sense he'll not even consider the prospect. Shush
We are completely fucked when this guy leaves. We have no chance of signing him, he's too good and everyone knows he is good enough to be in a top 4 side. He will end up at Arsenal, maybe even Liverpool. Fuck knows what we will look like next season without him, the chance of getting in a comparable ability in player with pace and goals is massively unlikely. Kanj
Always extremes with this club - we're either good or we're shit. We either have a perfect set piece taker or we have nobody. It's bloody ridiculous. Soon or later, Ryan Taylor will be subbed on late in matches for his free kick ability, won't he?

Aye, we're crying out for a set piece taker like. Some practice drills and input from inventive coaches would probably help. Allardyce is a football dinosaur, but his set pieces were usually well thought out.
