Kevin Osei one of the Marseille players tweeted saying either he's not with them in Morocco or he's not well...Not sure which

Ok, he's there.

Well, the 10 seconds I believed it could be true were fun.

Newcastle want Rémy but no offer for the moment. Loïc is at Marrakech with OM squad. #OM #NUFC

Don't blame him tbh Marrakech is a lovely place, I'd get on that racket before a move either way.

So how much will TyneBridge have to stick into the SBR fund?

Love the rollercoaster ride this thread is turning out to be. Just hope it has a happy ending!

Also can anyone tell me roughly what page the photo of Ben Arfa at the airport is on?

Got a feeling that it would be a good read, starting a few pages beforehand.  O0

Ah s***. What's Shefki Kuqi up to these days?

Sadly Shefki already has a gig at Hibernian. To date his record stands at 12 appearances and 0 goals - that's all been achieved with bags of enthusiasm no doubt.

I thought they said after the Carroll sale they'd always be fully prepared for it to happen again and be able to replace immediately/before it happens. It seems we once again have decided to begin the search/bidding/negotiation process after the player we all knew was gonna go has now left.

Is anyone just a little unconvinced about this guy? Seems to me he's on the decline a bit and by all accounts has been absolutely woeful this season. Marseille seem happy to let him go for a decent price which suggests they're not going to miss him. Obviously, if push comes to shove, i'd take Remy but we know how tight Ashley is, we need to make sure Ba's replacement is the right man, because we wont get another shot at it. It just worries me that we're pinning our hopes on a lad that hasnt scored a single goal in the French league this season and prior to that he hasnt massively prolific. Although I watch a little I dont watch a great deal of Ligue 1 and I'd love someone to put my doubts at ease here?

I think I'd much prefer Aubameyang, seen him play a few times and coupled with his record in France, he looks the real deal. 16 League goals last season and 8 in 12 in all competitions this term. We'll have to see though, can see this saga fizzling out to a hugely disappointing end either way.
