Anything but gold.

As for the black cats. They're not the black cats like. It has nothing to do with Sunderland. You can't just make up a new mascot ffs.

Its like calling us the grey seahorses. Theres lions on the Sunderland coat of arms, so they put them on the badge and made them black. There is a kind of reasoning behind it

Eh? It's got nowt to do with the lions. They were the black cats long before they put lions on their crest.

That Celtic shirt is class. Liverpool one Is god awful.

Warrior doing God's work, putting out shit Liverpool kits.

Amazing how Celtic get nearly the same damn kit every year from Nike. Their hoops are as iconic as our stripes, and yet Puma seems to hire a 6-year old to design ours.

So Wonga hasn't done anything about their promise to engage the fans regarding next season's kit then?

Eh? When did our strip come out? As it was early April two years ago and sometime in May last season what exactly are you basing that on?

They'd have done something about it by now tbh. Total load of bollocks IMO.

Probs will only end up getting involved on the 3rd kit or something tbh. Can't remember specifically reading that it was the home kit they'd get fans involved in.

Don't count on it!

It's a pity, I don't see why they wouldn't do it. The potential revenue of football shirts is enormous; makes perfect sense communicating with the buyers over this particular merchandise. Great for PR, too.

Guess plenty will just buy em either way.

Other initiatives with Wonga will include a straight talking forum with the fans for discussing ideas for fan involvement in the Club and working on a specific new initiative to involve fans in the design of the shirt.

easy out, they can just say they went to any pub at any time and had some crack about strips
