That's massive praise considering it was his first appearance for us and considering the amount of pressure we were under for the last 25 minutes. He coped admirably. Would have no gripes with him starting in the league; giving Santon an extended break. In spite of an excellent performance against Chelsea I think the he's burned out a wee bit, and has looked more nervy than he has confident this season.
