toontownman
Limited snippet about Galtier at St.Etienne and his playing style here, from when we were linked last season. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/05/09/why-christophe-galtier-would-be-perfect-for-newcastle-united/

Mole_Toonfan
Press will be peddling out us wanting Rijkaard next. Koop, Rijkaard, Benitez or De Boer otherwise us needy Geordies will riot and scream injustice. koop Koop is an electronic jazz duo from Sweden, consisting of Oscar Simonsson and Magnus Zingmark. Koop won a Swedish Grammy Award in 2003 for the album "Waltz for Koop", and received a Gold certification for sales of their most recent album, Koop Islands. ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koop_(band) Sounds interesting as manager. Would take tbh.

SUPERTOON
This just appeared on my feed: http://i.imgur.com/xmtuA6O.png Take out his time at England his record is pretty decent. The best option of all english managers but obviously not first choice.
Dr Venkman
Got a lot of respect for him for going abroad to better himself, that daft accent episode aside.
Mole_Toonfan
Of all the names recently mentioned ( ones that actually have worked at top level recently and not Worthington ffs) The only one I wouldn't take is Bruce the rest are fine.
Dokko
I'd accept Dutch Steve, not in my top ten but beggars can't be choosers. He'll improve on Pardew in almost every way, up in normal circumstances we should be doing way better. Only issue I see is he's doing well ATM and has 3 years to run. Bet derby are paying him as much as we paid Pardew.

Barnes23
Kristan Heneage @KHeneage I've heard a very interesting name as being on #NUFC's candidate shortlist. Former Brentford & Wigan boss Uwe Rosler.
Fenham Mag
Wonder if he is any relation to Heneage.

Bet derby are paying him as much as we paid Pardew. To be fair, we'd play more attacking football under McClaren that's for sure. Certainly not my first choice, but he did well in Holland, not so good Germany, but doing well at Derby. Defo worst choices out there.

Wasn't overly impressed with them, watched them vs Norwich last week. Not fluid, very lax and poor at closing down. Zero urgency. Reminded me of an even shitter version of us under pardew tbh. Hard to believe. Was told it was an off game for them though.
toontownman
Where the f*** does the Worthington stuff come from? From Nigel Worthington probably.

Guest neesy111
I'd take McClaren, excellent coach and I think he's improving as a manager.

thenige
Quite thankful that most of the names being banded about aren't cunts like Pardew. Wouldn't be overly keen on McClaren especially after his debacle at Forest but he's done well at Derby and is at least slightly forward thinking. KaKa
Kristan Heneage @KHeneage I've heard a very interesting name as being on #NUFC's candidate shortlist. Former Brentford & Wigan boss Uwe Rosler. Remember reading some articles on his approach, and being very impressed. It was when Wigan first took him on. The guy is eons ahead of Pardew. I'd be pretty intrigued. With the kinds of players we sign, he'd be far more ambitious with the football we play.
