Froggy
I still feel like I can call if a game is good or not despite supporting one of the teams. I really enjoyed it. The only memorabilia I have over here besides the shirts is a teddy my Mum sent over for Christmas.
Ameritoon
It was okay, I think most of us are just turned off by any football game, especially in England. I haven't been excited by a league game in months, probably none since the turn of the year.
Froggy
My game of the season was the 4-3, made a lot better by Daves posting in the match thread, and I don't even think he was watching.
Newcastle Fan
is this real? http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/947077_507480765980596_976192729_n.jpg
Froggy
No. Still funny though.

Alberto2005
What would people prefer tonight? Draw? Sunderland win? I think a Sunderland win is best.
Beren
Points deductions for both for fielding ineligible players. Think it's us or Wigan for that unwanted third berth. Another team laying claim to it strikes me as wildly unlikely at this stage, so if I can be wildly optimistic I'd rather Sunderland took it - and therefore hope Benteke rips 'em a new one. Or reopens several old ones, I don't mind.
TaylorJ_01
Wigan to spontaneously enter administration.
LRD
We should have been safe and watching the match popcorn in hand. Yet now this is a crucial game for us whichever way it pans out.
joeyt
Probably a Sunderland win and injuries to as many key Villa players as possible

AyeDubbleYoo
Probably a Sunderland win and injuries to as many key Villa players as possible Yep, if someone could break Benteke it would be perfect. (Hopefully he would recover soon after they get relegated obviously)

Teasy
What would people prefer tonight? Draw? Sunderland win? I think a Sunderland win is best. Sunderland win, absolutely no question. Villa and Wigan both play last game, keeping both below us is absolutely massive. For that reason the mackems will collapse and lose 3:0.
Hanshithispantz
Yep we definitely need a mackem win. It keeps Villa 3 points behind with much worse GD. They would have to get at least a win and a draw from their 3 remaining games to finish ahead of us.
AyeDubbleYoo
Bet the mackems gift them this game. Horrible feeling villa will win Hardly, Sunderland are in massive need of a win as well.
Ketsbaia
I'm in no doubt that Villa will get the win, because thats how life is as a Newcastle fan.
TRC
Fuck that, I want Villa to win. I refuse to want Sunderland to win. I feel as a NUFC fan we should not have to rely on Sunderland to pull us out of the shit, the ball is still in our court.
Jimburst
Villa are more than good enough to beat Sunderland, I'm afraid.
Scotty66
Just realised Villa have some mahoosive games coming up. Sunderland tonight, away to Norwich (who are in freefall),Chelsea, then Wigan away last game of the season. Hopefully that will be the decider between them two on who stays up and who goes down. Guest bimpy474
I think this is the most important of all the games for us, if Villa lose this i can see them losing all their others. Worrying thing for me is Villa have goals in them and if they score first, they'll win imo.

Yeah, I think we're pretty much safe if Sunderland win tonight tbh.
colinmk
Villa are still playing pretty well too, were unlucky against Manu.
