Mr. Snrub
Said it before, but Wilshere is fucking class. He's no Bale, like. As much as I hate Bale, he's a better player than Wilshere.

Nobody
Bale and Wilshere are so completely different players it's no point in even comparing them. I enjoy watching Wilshere a hell of a lot more than Bale, but I'm not sure whether he is a better player or not.
Mr. Snrub
Wilshere will be better In 10 years he will. What an utterly meaningless comment. I'm assuming he means once Bale has lost that yard of pace whereas Wilshere will still be able to dictate games then he will be better. In other words Bale will be the better player basically all of his career.

Mole_Toonfan
Quick analysis of Arsenal game anyone? Sounds like they were 2nd best? Apart from a 10 min spell in the second half, Bayern basically controlled the entire game played the game at what pace they wanted to. Huge gulf in class tbh, you got the feeling if Bayern wanted to they could have easily gone up several levels.
Beren
Wenger's comments seem on the money IMO: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21513315 Bayern's ferocious start to the game was fatal to Arsenal.
Wullie
Re: Guardiola, they're all like that, these amazing managers, Mourinho's the same. None of them have got the bottle to really test themselves at a job that isn't half done for them already or in which they don't have ridiculous funding. Where will Jose go next? Maybe Man United! Or Man City! Or maybe back to Chelsea! How thoroughly fascinating, actually no, how insufferably dull. Win the title at Everton, or Spurs, or yes Newcastle if you're so utterly convinced of your own ability. Pep wanted a new "challenge", aye you'll certainly get that at Bayern. Yup, even Arsenal would be a challenge. Its the same thing with players. You hear commentators say, about Leighton Baines for example, "if he had 'ambition' he could play on one of the top clubs in the world.." Isn't the more ambitious thing to try and drag a club to the top instead of just latching on to someplace that wins things all the time? This sport is so frustrating sometimes. Best managers get the best jobs shocker. It's the same daft argument that some people come up with re: Messi. He's not the best because he hasn't proven himself out of Barcelona. They are where they are because they deserve to be.

Mr. Snrub
How is aiming to win the League and Champions League with Bayern Munich not a challenge?
Yorkie
I'm not just gonna repeat Wullie's post. A real challenge would be to do it with a lesser club, not one that's already got the immediate resources (ie; players) easily capable of achieving those things. That Bayern performance tonight was as good as any I've seen from any team all season.
timeEd32
How is aiming to win the League and Champions League with Bayern Munich not a challenge? What if they are the holders of both when he takes over, which is a near certainty for the league and very possible with the CL. Of course, that brings its own challenges, but not the same as what others have pointed out. I don't begrudge the top managers taking the top jobs - they've earned that right - but it would be nice for one of them to go out on a limb just once.
