ponsaelius
Pocchetino's the best thing to happen to English football in years, but he has made a handful of odd signings.
Figures 1-0 Football
Unsurprising to see him do well in a really dreadful standard of league like.
sempuki
Just our luck to see him sold for £30m after getting less than £10m.
SEMTEX
Hope they sell him for £100m and he scores 12 past us next year.
Stal
Anyone else notice that the poll results are giving a massive middle finger?
Foluwashola
Why on earth was binning him for Thauvin not by some distance the most popular choice.
Dinho lad
Hope they sell him for £100m and he scores 12 past us next year. Hat-rick in each half of each game?

Dr.Spaceman
I hate Carr, but it's not his fault Thauvin very quickly decided he didn't want to be here anymore. Another one who would have been interesting to see with Rafa in charge.

It's a scouts job to find out about players' character and personality as well as their footballing ability like
SEMTEX
it's a managers job to get the best out of his players and not just sack them off at the first sign of trouble
Foluwashola
Happens all the time. Rafa sacked off Mbemba, Lazaar etc. Some are just too weak minded for the league.

TRon
it's a managers job to get the best out of his players and not just sack them off at the first sign of trouble Keegan and Ginola springs to mind here. I doubt David would ever have contemplated coming here, or stuck it out for two years if someone else was in charge. He left pretty soon after Keegan once Dalglish made it clear he wasn't a fan. I never doubted Thauvin's talent, but he didn't want to be here, and it would have took someone with more charisma than McClaren to sell the club to him. Guest
Looking forward to seeing what Marseille do in the summer. Being linked with Giroud. Thauvin and Payet either side of him could rip Ligue 1 up.

nemtizz
Stating the obvious here but we'd have pissed the league if we had kept him for this season.
tgarve
looks a step below the championship there man. Don't forget how shite he was in the prem

Kanj
Stating the obvious here but we'd have p*ssed the league if we had kept him for this season. Assumes he's happy and actually puts effort in though right? Wasn't he decent in pre season? Can't remember now.
Foluwashola
Not sure the Championship would have been the right environment for someone who absolutely adores bottling challenges and rolling about on the floor. Fair play to him turning it on in his comfort zone, all the best to him.
