No it isn't.  You can, no you must, get behind your team even when they are stinking up the place.

I'm appalled at how we started the game, but slightly encouraged by our play since we conceded.

 

Pretty remarkeable how we always start to play better in terms of our style of play after we go a goal behind.

 

I think that's fairly typical tbh. The side that goes ahead usually sits back slightly, which gives the team who have fallen behind a bit more time and space. In addition, conceding can give you a kick up the arse.

 

More remarkable is how poor your results have been after going a goal behind. Can't see that lasting though.
