Good win, strange old game like. We've scored 4 goals and other than a couple of half chances when we were 1-0 down we didn't waste many chances at all. Tiote was great, like his old self at last. Sissoko is just a total beast, plays the free role well as he's usually involved one way or another. Cisse's goal was amazing, the relief in his celebration was noticeable.

The French day thing was borderline ridiculous at times. The "beretzooka" pre-game was funny, the french Blaydon races was pushing it though. The flag thing pre-game looked good in the East Stand, assume it was meant to be black and white in the Gallowgate but it was jusbt bits of white here and there.

Southampton will be fine, quite a tidy team who are probably one or two decent defenders away from being mid table. Lambert was good, I was impressed by him. Worrying that half time seems to be a big problem for us at the moment, we just seem to switch off completely.

Hopefully Swansea are off out on the piss for a week following their cup final win, though I think we can give anyone a game with this team. Elliot made some good saves although I'd like to see their first as it was down the other end, that goal just seemed very easy all round.

Who's this American cunt?

Isn't the point of American football to have one person run into an area of the field while holding a similar sized ball? That sounds much more difficult I'm sure.

 Come on, man. Both sports are spectacularly difficult to play.

It was around this time that Cisse looked up, saw Southampton goalkeeper Artur Boruc firmly on the goal line, ostensibly thought fuck it, which he's prone to do, and smacked the ball on a half volley from his right foot that dipped over Boruc before hitting the back of the net. It's one of the best goals of the year, though probably not one of the best goals of Cisse's career, because he kind of does this a lot.

I'm not too sure what to make of the game today.  4-2 flatters us a bit, I thought they played well and we could have been 4-2 down before we got our third.  Some games fly over, this one seemed to last as long as a couple of other games put together.

He was offside like. He didn't go for the free kick and allowed Jonas to jump for it instead cos he was offside and then when it dropped (after jonas and the defender missed it) he became active. Great goal but should have been flagged off.
