Parky
Hatem was too busy ironing his PSG bedspread to comment.
Darth Crooks
I'm almost certain that there has been a bust up regarding style of play and situation..imo of course. Just smacks of empty PR, however canny those lads are.
Guest icemanblue
To be fair it wasn't three weeks ago players were out on their feet fighting for the win against Fulham. I've no doubt there's been some soul searching in the wake of the Sunderland and Liverpool games and there probably has been some few home truths voiced, but I certainly don't believe the talk of some huge split dividing the camp. This where I'm at, like.
Dave
Gagging orders. The French players in particular have been chatting shit to L'Equipe and others all season.
Varadi
Cisse and Tiote seem like 2 of the canniest lads going mind - if there was a dressing room split can't imagine anyone would suspect them of having anything much to do with it.

nufc4eva
Hmm, not sure about statement like. Just shut the fuck up, get on with it and keep us up. Sick of all this talk from players. If your all together then prove it on Saturday
midds
I'm very cynical but the more they protest there's nothing untoward going on behind the scenes the less inclined I am to believe them. The ladies doth protest too much...

The ladies doth protest too much... I don't know. Bit of a damned if you do type situation, isn't it? Could have felt as if they had to say something to counter the relentless negative onslaught from the media, to satisfy the 'impressionable' section of our support. littlelunchbox
this could work for us, it could build a siege mentality "everyone is against us!" "now we must go out and prove to them they are wrong!"
Gallowgate Toon
This is a little overly defensive from the club. There probably have been complaints about the manager but I still don't understand why that's a problem, players aren't blind and will get to a point of frustration if the bloke in charge is making the same mistakes and isn't performing, it affects them. Guest Howaythetoon
To be fair, anyone who has ever played football whatever the level, when you're low on confidence and losing heavy, your head drops quicker than a whores drawers. Still, there is no excuse for the manner of our recent 'endevours'.
Dave
Interestingly they've changed the image on the article since it was published. Added one with Colo on it now.
BONTEMPI
Hollow words from a set of underperforming plonkers, and nonce of a manager. 3 games to turn it round when we haven't even looked close to over 35.

Could have felt as if they had to say something to counter the relentless negative onslaught from the media, to satisfy the 'impressionable' section of our support. The best response would have been to say nothing at all and go and win the next game and let the press speculate as much as they want, you can't stop it. The only thing that'll make it go away is getting results. Idiot at work listened to Neville's rant on MNF and now wants every French player dropped for West Ham. Because they're French. This is an intelligent bloke, degreed and normally sensible and grounded. He wants the team picked on nationality rather than talent. This is the issue.
