Can't wait for this piece of s*** c*** trying to tell the football world that keeping Cabaye was the most important thing and that they tried all day to get  one 'over the line'.

Absolutely fucked in my opinion without another Striker and Winger, that was the minimum required. We now only have Cisse who is likely to be fit enough for long enough and debatable whether he will get goals with very little service.

Wonder what he's doing right now? Watching SSN and hoping for "some magic" to "get someone over the line".

Probably he's in the casino with Derek.

I hope he bloody wins, so he fuck off from us.

Partridge must be gutted that his efforts at touting Cabaye for sale seem to have failed seeing as he will miss out on his share of the incoming transfer fee.

Couldn't give a flying fuck what this twat thinks, he got in bed with the devil by stabbing Hughton in the back. He deserves what he gets.

“I think keeping our best players makes a strong statement, from [owner] Mike Ashley in particular.

“He’s had a fair bit of criticism here, for perhaps not investing in the club or not being fully focused, or wanting to sell it and so on, but if that’s the case why didn’t he cash in on one of the big hitters?”

“We have had a couple of phone calls during the window and Mike has been pretty adamant that everybody stays.

“I thank him for that and our fans should thank him too because we are not as affluent as some other clubs.”

He said that exactly 1 year ago. I fucking hate you, Alan.

Worrying times ahead.

Also anyone else noticed this little pattern-

Tiote-played brilliantly when he first joined, last couple of seasons been on a massive decline.

Sissoko - Off to a storming start in his Newcastle career, has done very little since (still early days)

Cisse-Scoring for fun when he joined, now cant really do anything at all.

Ba-Also scoring for fun, form dipped dramatically before he was sold.

Cabaye-considered to be one of the best CM's in the Premier league during his first season, eye of the needle passing, freekick specialist etc etc,now really can't be arsed and looks a shadow of the player that we've seen before.

Coincidence?

A manager with any credibility would resign after this summer.

which is ashleys plan why should pardew let him win by giving him what he wants when he can continue to do his job and if ashley wants him out let him pay him off in full

the Toon boss said: “You have to look over the period of 18 months that I’ve been here. I think we have spent very well and wisely.

Mike Ashley

“You could argue that we should have gone out and spent (more) money on players, but then if it didn’t work out that would have been a bigger criticism. We spent the money wisely and I think our fans should be thankful for that.

“Graham Carr did a tremendous job in targeting players and we have done our best to develop the ones we already have, and we think there are one or two at the club that the fans haven’t seen yet.

“They haven’t seen Sammy Ameobi this season or much of Romain Amalfitano. Cheick Tiote has hardly played.

“So I think we should be thankful for what we’ve got. We have a competitive squad.

“I have no problem with these radio debate shows, I really don’t.

“I do think they tend to lean on the negative rather than the positive.

“You have to look at the bigger picture.

“We had a fantastic season last year and this time we’ve had two European games and two international breaks; the season hasn’t really got going.

“There has been this talk because, in my view, the fans have had some time on their hands.

“Now we have a run of games and I think we’ll prove that we are a good side.”

Also from a year ago.

Feel sorry for him.

Has been completely undermined and left with a bang average squad but will obviously still be the focal point for the majority of abuse.

If he had any semblance of integrity and professional pride then he'd perhaps have a little of my respect. But he doesn't.

If he resigned on principle he'd never get a squad like he has now ever again. Why on earth would he walk.

Clearly has no trust from owner, wonder if Ashley led him on assuring him there would be signings. Kinnear is not here to get signings he's just waiting to take over, will be doing in a few months time.

While Ashley is in charge this club will never have any ambition

Feel sorry for him.

I do too, actually. I mean he's a shit manager, but he's not being backed by the board either.

But I'll stop feeling sorry for him the very instant he opens his mouth and defends this summer's transfer dealings. Which he will do, because he's a fucking spineless prat.
