ponsaelius
Ketsbaia's Georgia are on SS2 against a select English/Scottish/Irish XI. Big fan of Jano Ananidze although it's been a while since I saw him play.
Disco
Georgia keeper sent off. Daftie. Shane Long bought it like, never getting on the end of that knock past him.
Village Idiot
Depor have been absolutely abysmal, just like us against Villa this. Aye, way to die after reaching the seashore, so to speak. They mounted an amazing comeback during the last months of the season and they just whimper out like that in front of their fans. Anyway, always had a soft spot for Celta so I'm glad they were ones to survive.
aussiemag
If you are off work tomorrow or unemployed, Japan v Australia is on 11:30 am, Newcastle time. Dads army will be rolling out to play for Australia, against a slick technical Japanese side. Expecting an absolute hammering, only hope is Tim Cahill and Josh Kennedy can aerially dominate. Expected team. Schwarzer (40) Wilkshire (31) Neill (35) Ognenovski (34) McKay (30) Milligan (27) Bresciano (33) Kruse (24) Cahill (33) Holman (28) Kennedy (31) Bunch of old farts. The youth is there ready to step up, like Tommy Oar, James Holland, Rhys Williams, Shane Lowry, Chris Herd, Tom Rogic. But the idiot in charge of us, thinks experience is necessary. brummie
On the subject of Australian football, can I just say, Holman isn't very good, and runs and pants like a 65 year old, so you can add a few years to his effective age. That is all.

Mole_Toonfan
Always had a soft spot for Japan for some reason. Wonderful to watch and like Mike mentioned with Mexico they have wonderful chemistry as a team.

Wonderful to watch and like Mike mentioned with Mexico they have wonderful chemistry as a team. Yeh Japan are a very good side. Technically they are fantastic. They just struggle against direct, physical sides like Australia.

aussiemag
Would have taken it pre match, though when you're 1-0 up in stoppage time, it's disappointing. Kagawa and Hinda were mesmerizing at times though.
brummie
Fuck sake. 1-1 with Japan. Conceded a last minute penalty. How did Holman do? Did he, by any chance, run around like a dog who has slipped his lead in the park and can't find its owner, so just tear arses around cluelessly? aussiemag
f*** sake. 1-1 with Japan. Conceded a last minute penalty. How did Holman do? Did he, by any chance, run around like a dog who has slipped his lead in the park and can't find its owner, so just tear arses around cluelessly? Classic Holman. He was ok, lacked match sharpness, hauled off after 70 minutes. Played a really nice through ball to create a 1 on 1, just missed getting his head onto a ball that would have scored him a header. Apart from that he ran around like the dog who slipped his lead off. Did you ever watch the youtube video of his performance vs Holland in 2009? Flip
Don't know if it's been mentioned around here but Tahiti was in Chile last night preparing for the Confederations Cup and played a friendly against Chiles u-20 national team. Result? Well they lost 7-0. How the fuck are they going to cope against Uruguay, Spain and Nigerias national teams?
