Japan were absolutely wonderful - the passing and movement was absolutely sublime. Dreadfully unlucky and so fucking typical, but it was a good goal that won it. Italy have got so much to thank De Rossi for - anything good they did came through him. They reminded of me of a less classy, less clinical version of us. Soak up pressure, hang on for the bare minimum result, punt it forward at every opportunity. So, so harsh on Japan who played the game to its full potential. Brilliant match.
