bigfella
Decent point. I guess it's lose-lose for us because they get a nice day out at Wembley and a long time to wind us up about it They'll not win the cup and they'll have a horrible trip back, losing in a final is about as bad as it gets. Hopefully Man City will also embarrass them. Sorry but that's absolute and utter bullshit mate. I've seen us lose four cup finals (as I suspect you have) and have had a fuckin blast everytime. It's disappointing, but no disgrace to be beaten by a top team at Wembley. What is a disgrace is not even trying in the cups.
Big Geordie
Derby is gonna be a tough day - they've had a massive confidence boost tonight, but perhaps there league form might suffer (as it did with Wigan) Our lot better be up for it - another defeat wont wash. Counting their lucky stars to be there too, whereas we were still a good team at the time of our cup finals.

Against Man U I was booked to return on the last bus home which was just after 11pm, I felt so bad that I got the first bus back and couldn't wait to get out of London, it was shite. Mr. Snrub
They just beat Man Utd to get to a Cup Final. I'd rim Pat Butcher to have that feeling right now.

Yup - comes over a bit like Gullit when it comes to them down the road, despite the guff.

That was a jammy free kick from Raylor which Mignolet should have saved but we should have beaten them in a few other games. Pardew just does not seem capable of getting our players prepared for it. The only shit Wembley experience I've had was at the Charity Shield, where we went there and back by coach in a day - dreadful. Stay for the weekend, drink and have a laugh with the opposition supporters, that's what it's all about, I'm actually quite envious of the makems now. Why would there be aggression between the 2 groups of supporters? Especially given the Sunderland goading Man Utd craic of 18 months ago? Put your Stone Island back in the wardrobe man. Mr. Snrub
You're right, cup finals should be a love fest between the 2 sides full of wonderful, friendly banter. http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ljkzov0Ncp1qgsrigo1_500.jpg

Bit of craic & drinks with the opposition fans etc. You should try going to one some time, an English one anyway - obvs you were in Valencia a couple of seasons back for the Ronaldo final. Guest
Easy for them to say it's going to be a friendly final when they know more than likely they'll win by 3 or 4 mind.

Stuy_O
You'd think, but you never know in football. They are 90 / 120 minutes from achieving something we can only ever dream of.
