Will they definitely not end up with anyone else though? Agree if it's just Borini then it isn't good enough.

 

Fair play to them if he isn't, seems the type of money you spend as the bloke you expect to get you the goals to stay in the league.

 

I'd be quite surprised if they sign more strikers.

Paying twice his worth. Hes a very good player but surely they wont be able to keep up that sort of spending. They could have spoke to Remy for that, not that he would have gone near them.

To me £14m is two £7m players who would improve them no end. Not all for Borini for the reasons you point out, nutters :lol:

He blatantly did stand out for them mind.

Did he? Scored a few important goals towards the end of the season but didn't think he was considerably better than the rest of their players over the duration of the season

He was. He was the main threat, especially when Poyet stuck him up top. Clearly one of their best performers if not the best.
