Cajun
Defoe just hammers home how badly Michael Owen threw away his career. Owen at his peak was on an entirely different level but Defoe still has that class and will probably continue for a few more years where as Owen basically jacked it in at 29. Waster. Guest
Defoe hasn't had a quarter of the injury problems Owen had though.

Yorkie
So clinical, Defoe.

Ketsbaia
Good result for Swansea, wasn't it. They'll be knackered for Sunday, then. Thems the rules!
Away Toon
Wasn't Defoe available for around 6m? And didn't he mumble he would have been interested in coming to us? He's the best finisher probably in the Premier League.
Cajun
Defoe hasn't had a quarter of the injury problems Owen had though. Owen still scored his fair share for us after his injury problems, just a gutless twat who cared more about who he played for than how often he played. Disco
Protest, staying in the concourse for he first 15 mins of the second half. Any wonder... David Villa and David Silva were sold, then captain Juan Mata was sold, Valencia sold striker Roberto Soldado. Rather that than actually going bust. --- 2nd best night in Swansea's history that surely. Absolute dreamland. In 2001 whilst Valencia were in the Champions League final, Swans were getting relegated to Div 3. How times change.
Tiresias
Sigurrson dithers waaaay too much, keeps receiving balls in great positions then waiting and waiting then losing it

Shame it won't last, supposed to be a cracking place to take in a game though the old Geoffrey-Guichard.
Guest
Went to one game when I lived there in 2005. Home game v Metz. Worst match I've ever seen but the atmosphere was immense. "Piquigol" couldn't hit a barn door.
