Segun Oluwaniyi
No one can convince me that David Luiz is a good defender. He is a massively talented footballer undoubtedly, but he is 26 and still too foolish to have a position.

He's a great defender on his day, too many lapses mentally though although I still think Cech was the one at fault there.

Blatant disregard for the rules by whoever that ref is, should be sent down to the Conference ?? Eto'o toe poked it away from the keeper while he bounced it off the ground. Clearly had possession with his hands, but ref let it play on

If Cech called for the ball, sure, but on the replay, Luiz didn't even look to see where his keeper was. His head is up the field the entire time, and he is strolling away from the ball while the opposition score.

It even blatantly says in the Laws of the Game that a keeper's in possession if he's bouncing the ball.

Bouncing the ball is NOT part of the one movement like the GK drop kicking it up field.. 'When a goalkeeper has gained possession of the ball with his hands, he cannot be challenged by an opponent. 'A goalkeeper is considered to be in control of the ball while the ball is between his hands and any surface and while in the act of bouncing it on the ground.'
