The other games today - 2013/14

Both are cracking strikes obviously. But any pro footballer can hit a worldy every now and then (e.g Tiote, C) but goals like Wilshere's vs Norwich are far harder. The little touches and passes, on the move, in a confined space, surrounded by defenders. Much harder to do, and to stay calm and roll the ball in takes some doing as well. That's real class.

Dunno, that Kasami one is outrageous technique. To chest it perfectly whilst on the run then keep your body over it isn't something most players could do imo.

Aye that was absolutely world class and much more than a wonder strike. He's runing at full tilt

With the top scorer crocked and their stay winger sold, Palace aren't any better now then when they where in the Championship and it shows.

You're right, the likes of Gayle, Puncheon, Mariappa, Bannan, Jerome, Kebbe, Chamakh and Campana haven't improved their options at all.

Not sure if you're joking Tooj. If not then, uh, I guess they've improved the number of options?

Options maybe. Half of those players are Zaha replacements and only Puncheon has nailed down a first team place. Bolassie who has been injured has looked better than the rest anyway.

Glen Murray hit 30 goals in the Championship. I doubt any of the strikers they have signed could do the same in even that division.

The front 3 out Zaha-Murray-Bolassie tore the Championship apart at times. I don't think the players they've brought in to basically cover those are a big step up. Puncheon has looked very good at times however.

Had they managed to keep Zaha and keep the other 2 fit they wouldn't have had to buy so many players for those positions and could concentrate on other areas more. They've brought in loads of players, few of which are significantly better than those sold, injured or replaced.

Dortmund have 1 win, 4 draws, and 5 losses in CL away games under Klopp. Didn't know their away record is so poor.

Thought it would have been better than that although their last 2 CL groups have been stinkers.

8 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat at home though.
