You just knew there was going to be some way for Jonas to start

Just pictured him faking a French accent as he calls Mike Ashley to put on the bid.

he slipped out of character and almost gave the game away

oright arsen son how about 20m?

nah, no way, naah

Should drop Sissoko into the center and play Marveaux ahead of him. How is Jonas anywhere near our first eleven, man? Ffs

Completely agree. Should have done that anyway at Tiote's expense, regardless of the Cabaye stuff.

Does anyone think Arfa will stay if Cabaye is sold ? No.

It's time to walk the talk and start a f***ing riot if they sell Cabaye coz we might loose our two best player in a weelk or so...

This. Tiote out for Anita too please.

I'd be fucking raging if I was Anita or Marveaux. 2 decent footballers consigned to the bench for Tiote and Jonas. It's enough to make you weep.

Think that team's OK, better balance in the middle. Would rather have Tiote-Jonas than Tiote-Anita.

Any reason why? Anita's crying out for a run of games IMO.

Because Antia and Tiote are too similar. Having 2 sitting midfielders was part of our problem last year, Jonas can actually dribble (not much else) and won't be asked to pick up the ball from extremely deep.

In what way are Anita and Tiote similar?

Tiote and Anita aren't similar at all.

Anita can pass a football 5 yards.

Can't quibble with that providing Jonas replaced the cried off Cabaye. He's not ideal but he's better there than elsewhere and Anita is liable to get bulldozed by Fernandinho & Toure.

Ridiculously attacking line-up from City, hopefully there will be space for HBA/Gouffran/Cisse on the counter.

EDIT: forgot about Marveaux, play him instead.

Their mentalities are very similar, neither have much going forward, like to sit deep and collect the ball off the centre backs. One is enough, two is too many.
