Slightly underwhelmed by that link, he's only moderately better than Willamson & Taylor imo. Hull weren't exactly watertight. Not a chance on earth Ashley would spend 8mil on someone that age either.

The Sun on Sunday

Newcastle are in talks with Seville winger Diego Perotti  after sealing a deal for Jack Colback. Argentine Perotti, 25, is  on the market for a bargain £3.5 million. Midfielder Colback has arrived from Sunderland on a free.

Anyone know much bout this Perotti, any pace, decent at crossing?

From sky sports player characteristics

Dribbling - Very Strong

Crossing - Strong

Holding on to the ball - Strong

Passing - Strong

Defensive contribution - Weak  :hmm:  And we are out the running

I really like him, seems to have lost his way a bit since his breakthrough though.

Different owner with same scouting and we'd still have Cabaye, Remy would be ours, Ba would be ours, Cisse too maybe and HBA would be at the WC. Finally we'd have signed Cabella by now and pondered peddling One of our strikers to sign Lukaku. Redic lack of investment when we should be laughing at how shrewd we could be with Carr's sneaky strategy.

Mirror reckons we've nearly got Gomis.

I've lost count of how many we've nearly got through
