Kanji Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 i'm starting to wonder what the "plan" might be if they indeed go and get saivet and shelvey? saivet shelvey sissoko perez wijnaldum mitrovic something like that? with maybe de jong instead of perez or a second striker in his place if we sign one? doesn't appear to help our awful lack of width one iota at first glance Switch Wijnaldum and Perez IMO. Or maybe the plan is for Colback to go left back. The Telegraph article says that Burnely would still have Gray's registration, so because of that it wouldn't be a problem. this is the rule directly from the fifa rulebook Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play offi cial matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in offi cial matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. While I think both Shelvey and Saivet sound like good signings, it will mean nothing without a striker.
